Tripura (Maria Agureeva) was born in 1985 in Ukraine. Graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Technology and Design (Department of Graphic Design, 2003 - 2009), ICA ( Institute of Contemporary Art, Moscow) (2014-2015) . Tripura (Maria Agureeva) is a winner of the grant from Ruinart Art Patronat (2019) and TRUST FOR MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING (2018), a nominee of the Kandinsky Prize (2013).
The artist works with installations, videos, performances. Tripura lives and works in Los Angeles.
